Verses of Hope from Surah an-Nisaa’

Alhamdulillah, we completed most of Surah an-Nisaa’ in tonight’s Taraaweeh. And after the salaah, the Imam mentioned that many of the ‘ulama, when asked which verse from the Qur’an, in their opinion, is the most full of hope, quoted ayat from this Surah. A long time ago I had posted something on this particular topic, and since then that post has consistently been the most viewed one on the blog. So I thought that I would share these other ayat as well. Some of the beautiful and inspiring ayat from this particular surah are:

Allah wants to accept your repentance.

(Surah an-Nisaa’: 27)

Allah wants to lighten your burden.

(Surah an-Nisaa’: 28)

If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you your lesser sins and admit you to a noble entrance [into Paradise].

(Surah an-Nisaa’: 31)

Indeed, Allah does not wrong anyone by so much as the smallest speck. And if there is a good deed, Allah will multiply it and give an immense reward direct from Him.

(Surah an-Nisaa’: 40)

And whoever does evil or wrongs his own soul but then seeks Allah’s forgiveness will find Allah Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(Surah an-Nisaa’: 110)

And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer – those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.

(Surah an-Nisaa’: 121)

Why should Allah punish you if you are thankful and believe? Allah is All-Thankful, All-Knowing.

(Surah an-Nisaa’: 147)

So those who believe in Allah and hold fast to Him – He will admit them to mercy from Himself, and bounty, and guide them to Himself on a straight path.

(Surah an-Nisaa’: 175)

    I think you there’s a typo at (Surah an-Nisaa’: 48) -> Should be 28? (and 27 as well.)
